LGTC Group is looking for a Licensed Psychotherapist working with Eating Disorders
Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Psychotherapist with expertise in treating eating disorders. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based individual, group, and / or family therapy to clients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and related concerns. The role involves creating individualized treatment plans, supporting recovery goals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide psychotherapy (individual, group, and / or family) to clients with eating disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT-E, DBT, ACT, FBT (Maudsley), or psychodynamic therapy.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment goals, and provide psychoeducation as needed.
- Collaborate with dietitians, psychiatrists, medical providers, and case managers.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and case consultations.
- Support clients with co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, or trauma.
- Maintain awareness of current research, best practices, and ethical standards in eating disorder treatment.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.Current and valid state licensure (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, PhD).At least 1–2 years of experience treating clients with eating disorders in outpatient, IOP, PHP, or residential settings.Training in evidence-based eating disorder treatment modalities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Preferred Qualifications :
Certification or specialization in eating disorder treatment (e.g., CEDS).Experience with trauma-informed care and co-occurring conditions.Knowledge of HAES® (Health at Every Size) and body-positive frameworks.Experience with adolescent and family-based therapy (FBT).Bilingual (Spanish) This is a huge plus
