Schaeffler Group Co-Op Lean Manufacturing Spring2026
Your Key Responsibilities The Co-op will be assigned to the Plant Seguin SPS / Lean Department supporting Schaeffler’s Shopfloor Management (SFM) implementation. In addition, the Co-op will collaborate closely with the engineering team on a daily basis, contributing to a range of innovative and technically challenging projects. This role is an excellent opportunity for a working student to gain practical experience alongside their studies.
- Assist in identifying and eliminating waste through Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Standard Work.
- Participate in lean activities such as Jishuken, 5S, and Leader Standard Work (LSW)audits.Participate in continuous improvement events and document results.
- Support visual management initiatives and help sustain Lean culture across the facility through LSW implementation.
- Create and update standard work instructions and training materials for various processes across the facility.
Your Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentMust be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related fieldMaintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semesterBasic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and teamwork skillsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast paced manufacturing environmentApply now!
