Description :

They obtain data related to the treatments provided.

They collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary.

PTAs assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to individuals at the end of life.

They help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups.

PTAs read instructions from the Physical Therapist.

They work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients.

PTAs speak with families to find the best at-home techniques.

They keep the physical therapy area clean and organized.

PTAs move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area.

They complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.

PTAs teach patients techniques like balance training.
