As a Plumbing Superintendent, you'll provide crucial supervision and management for commercial plumbing installations, ranging from foundational systems to large, complex projects involving multiple plumbing systems. You'll also play a key role in administering our company’s safety program and ensuring a safe, healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Leadership : Supervise all work performed on plumbing systems, ensuring efficient progress and adherence to project plans.
• Safety & Compliance : Assist in administering the company's safety program, actively maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for your team.
• Team Supervision : Guide and lead multiple foremen, effectively delegating tasks and ensuring clear communication.
• Quality Assurance : Oversee installations to ensure they meet the highest standards and comply with all specifications and codes.
• Scheduling & Deadlines : Take responsibility for scheduling projects effectively and ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Problem-Solving : Address any challenges that arise during installation, making informed decisions to keep projects on track.

What You'll Bring :

Extensive Experience : A minimum of 8 years of verifiable experience in the plumbing trade, with at least 3 years of verifiable supervisory experience.

Blueprint & Code Mastery : Thorough knowledge of plumbing blueprints, specifications, and codes, as well as blueprints for other major crafts.

Comprehensive System Knowledge : In-depth understanding of all plumbing systems, from domestic water to medical gas.

Exceptional Communication : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact with employees and clients on a professional level.

Organizational Skills : The ability to effectively schedule projects and meet demanding deadlines.

Physical Demands & Work Environment :

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions. You should be comfortable :

Working in outside areas exposed to weather and elements.

Performing tasks in awkward positions which may cause physical discomfort and strain.

Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical devices.

Being exposed to safety hazards and making safe corrections while avoiding injury.
