About The Position

Job Title : CT Scan Tech

Experience : 1 year preferred, 6 months Level 1 trauma required

License : South Carolina License required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT RT (R), ARRT RT (CT)

Must-Have :

• Siemens experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience

Description :

Agency must supply radiation badge.

Position is for a CT Scan Tech focusing on procedures.

Daily caseload per tech varies per shift and location.

Shift schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday, from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM.

There is a holiday rotation.

On-call rotation is required with staff.

Floating within scope to meet facility needs is necessary.

Preference is given to candidates with prior experience.

Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency; it is not provided to travelers.

The facility has a radius rule of 60 miles.

Locals may be accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate.

All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.

Guaranteed hours allow for one shift to be called off every two weeks.

The facility is a teaching hospital.

It is a Magnet facility and a Level 1 Trauma center with 865 staffed beds.

Scrub color is teal top and black bottom.

Charting is done through Epic.

During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Travelers are advised to not confirm new assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.

The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.

Candidates must have experience in routine studies, outpatients, cardiac, and interventional radiology procedures.

Preferred experience includes biopsies and drainage procedures.

Special equipment includes Siemens Force x2, Go.Top, and Definition AS.
