Job descriptionNew hourly rate starting at $33.41 (RN) & $24.36 (LPN) SIGN-ON BONUS! Night shift hourly differential of $3.00 Overtime availability 8 paid holidays each year Double time pa y for holiday hours worked Earn Paid Time Off (PTO) Full benefits including; medical, dental, and vision insurance effective the first of the month after 60 days and pet benefits. 403b retirement-automatic 2% company contribution plus company match up to 3% after 1 year of employment and 1000 hours worked One times your annual salary life insurance coverage at no cost to you Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is free to all employees and their immediate family members. Tuition reimbursemen t program available On the job training Employee recognition give-a-ways throughout the year Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided) Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals Ability to work under supervision and to supervise as needed in areas relating directly to nursing care. Keeps the interdisciplinary team and guardians / family informed of pertinent health information and significant changes in each person’s health conditions in cooperation with the Clinical Manager. Makes rounds in assigned cottage(s) to visit each person and assess health status at the beginning of each shift and as needed. Administers medications per the Medication administration policies. Performs nursing procedures within legal scope of practice and individual training and skill level per physician’s order and facility protocol including, but not limited to :
1. Oral / tracheotomy suctioning and care
2. G-tube care
3. Urinary catheterizations
4. Injections
5. Administration of oral and rectal medications
