Job Summary

The Excavator operator will assist with all drainage / retaining wall activities and all excavations throughout our project.

Essential Functions

• Equipment operation under the direction of the supervisor
• Bench and secure all excavations during the operation
• Read cut stakes and grade elevations
• Recognize hazardous conditions and report to the supervisor
• Dig around and assist in exposing live utilities
• Work day, night, and weekends as required
• While operating equipment, communicate with others using verbal and non-verbal hand signals
• Perform other labor-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
