Job descriptionMonday to Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. 30-minute unpaid lunch break Up to 40 hours per week No work on Federal holidays Review and process medication orders and prescriptions. Monitor therapy for contraindications, interactions, and allergies. Maintain accurate patient medication records. Inspect, store, and manage medication inventory and security. Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare staff. Support compliance with DEA, FDA, Joint Commission, and Bureau of Prisons standards. Document all services and maintain high standards of pharmacy practice. Participate in adverse drug reaction reporting and medication safety activities. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school or program. Current state pharmacist license. Minimum one year of pharmacist experience. Current CPR certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association). Strong attention to accuracy, safety, and compliance. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school or program.
