About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Minnesota state license or willingness to apply

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC

Must-Have :

Must possess a Minnesota state license or be willing to apply upon acceptance of the offer.

BLS certification required.

Description :

General job duties include ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, EKGs, BIPAP / CPAP, and bedside spirometry.

Competency in care and treatment for all ages is required.

Effective equipment skills, communication abilities, and patient care are essential.

Must be able to prioritize daily duties.

Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory care is necessary.

Familiarity with computerized charting and medication systems is preferred.

Can be required to work in all departments within the facility, including emergency, intensive care, medical surgical, pediatrics, obstetrics, and family care.

The department practices basic introduction to hospital specifics and equipment storage areas.

A brief computer training will be conducted, and clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.

Dress code includes gray scrubs.
