Education / Certification : Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with one of the following qualifications :
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- Certification / Registration as a Medical Assistant
- 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in lieu of registration
- 5+ years as a Nurse Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant with at least 1 year of experience
Experience : Previous experience in a medical facility is preferred.

Greet patients and prepare them for examinations per office protocol.Update and document patient charts meticulously.Oversee vaccine programs in accordance with state guidelines.Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for use.Monitor inventory of medical supplies and report needs for restocking.Report equipment malfunctions promptly.Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and assist in surgical procedures.Perform EKGs and Spirometry tests as required.Communicate lab results to patients and facilitate their follow-up care.Process prescription refill requests as per office guidelines.Prepare and submit specimens for laboratory testing.Assist patients in collecting sterile urine specimens.Maintain compliance with CLIA regulations and our practice's documentation standards.Professionally collaborate in our Patient-Centered Medical Home Care Team.Flexibility to float between offices or perform additional duties as assigned.Uphold confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
