Position Overview :

Horizon Health is seeking a Full-Time Dental Billing and Collections Associate. This role involves managing billing and collections duties as directed by the Director of Coding and Billing. Candidates should be passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Horizon Health offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on individual patient needs and community health.

The position may be remote eligible for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle patient questions regarding insurance billing, credit arrangements, and account status.
• Monitor accounts for insurance activity; follow-up on problem claims.
• Prepare and submit monthly patient statement files and insurance claim forms, including electronic claims.
• Research insurance denials or rejections and work to correct and resubmit claims to maximize revenue.
