We are currently seeking a 2ND Shift CNC Machinist for a client in Shelton, CT.
Duration : 6 month Contract to Hire
Location : Shelton, CT
Pay Rate : $DOE
Description :
As a CNC Machinist, your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to :
CNC Lathes and / or Milling set-up and operate
Read G-codes, understand and edit programs
Setup and perform machine operations on two machines in the work cell
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager
Requirements :
3 years’ experience, 5 years preferred
CNC Lathes and VMCs set-up and operate
Must be accurate with attention to detail
Math skills : Shop Math, Trigonometry, Geometry
Must be able to read blueprints / engineering drawings and be familiar with measuring instruments and gauge
