Job Title : Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School-Based

Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team in Hawthorne, New York . The BCBA will support students with diverse behavioral and learning needs through evidence-based interventions, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students.
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students and staff within a school setting.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Train and supervise paraprofessionals, teachers, and support staff in the implementation of behavior plans.
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and parents to align behavioral strategies with academic goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings , team discussions, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).New York State licensure or eligibility as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).Experience in school-based or pediatric ABA settings preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills.Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.Benefits :
