Summary :

The Emergency Department Technician II - FH role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IV's.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :

• Education : Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 160 hours of clinical experience required.
• License / Certifications : Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience : N / A.
• Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A
• Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Training in phlebotomy and performing EKG's.
