Job Title : Quality Inspector

Reports to : Quality Supervisor

Primary Purpose : To assist the quality control department in meeting and exceeding pre-determined requisites and guidelines through established functional programs.

Essential Functions :

• Print labels for specified shifts
• Perform 1st piece approval process
• Provide boundary samples for all production runs
• Verify correct documentation identified per product / work cell
• Perform label verification process - 1 tote per pallet
• Perform in-process part inspection per DIS (verify frequency per specific
• product
• Perform LPA audits as scheduled
• Meet as IATF 16949 requirements for your area; step-by step, packaging,
• quality alerts, and visual aids
• Document detailed summary of shift concerns for the next shift
• Assist with training of new / in-training operators
• Pass color verification (Hue Test). Re-certify at Managements discretion
• Perform tasks with specific measuring devices (i.e. calipers, gages, Macbeth Light etc.)
