Pediatric Seasonal RN Rate - $55 / hour plus shift differentials

Job Summary And Qualifications
What qualifications you will need :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Nurse license required
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Seasonal Program Requirements – Seasonal PRN Status with a Full-Time Schedule - Program runs 9 / 21 / 25 - 4 / 4 / 26
All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period
Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period
1 year of Pediatric / PICU experience is required
During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee)
Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital
Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy
Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses
Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation
Current employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2025-2026
Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program
Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department
