Elastic Consulting Architect – Endgame Systems, LLC

Base Pay Range

$140,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr

Overview

Endgame Systems, LLC is a consulting services provider focused on Elastic technology for government agencies with heightened security needs. We are building a federal consulting team to support U.S. Department of Defense customers across the U.S. and internationally. A minimum of an active U.S. TS / SCI clearance is required. The role involves delivering consultancy engagements onsite in Odenton, Maryland, and supporting complex, multi-year engagements. The ideal candidate is a technically trained engineer who loves to problem-solve and work face-to-face with public-sector customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Elastic consulting services remotely and on-site to drive customer business value from our products.
  • Design, develop, and integrate Elastic products and services, including platform architecture and capacity planning in mission-critical environments.
  • Develop demos and proof-of-concepts that highlight the value of the Elastic Stack.
  • Model data, develop queries, optimize, and tune clusters for fast search and analytics at scale.
  • Engage with other consultants to solve technical issues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Author technically articulate consulting reports.

Qualifications

  • Active U.S. TS / SCI clearance with FS security clearance.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Systems Engineer / Administrator, Network Engineer / Administrator, Cloud Engineer / Administrator, or closely related field.
  • At least 2 years of consulting or technical instruction experience.
  • Proficiency in gathering, prioritizing, planning, and executing solutions to customer business requirements.
  • Proficient with Linux, Unix, Windows operating systems and CLI.
  • Knowledge of information retrieval and / or analytics domains.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with Elastic installation, configuration, ECK / Kubernetes or Rancher, and Ansible.

  • Technical instructor or public speaker experience.
  • Proficiency in Ansible, GitHub, VS Code, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with databases (SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with network data, cyber security data, system logs.
  • Understanding of distributed datastore technology.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or relevant field.
  • Elastic certification (Engineer, Analyst, Observability Engineer).
