SUMMARY

This position is a seasonal position with a stipend. The role of the assistant varsity lacrosse coach is to be responsible for coaching a varsity team, character development and providing direction to student-athletes so that they might achieve a higher level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. This job requires you to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student-athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community and follow the mission of our school. Positive communication strategies, organizational skills, and safety awareness are key requirements.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed mostly indoors in an environmentally controlled environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods of time, lift at least 40 pounds, walk, bend, crouch, talk, feel, grasp, hear and perform repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and arms. Also requires carrying, kneeling, stooping, and balancing. Job incumbent also required to read / see up close and from afar.
