Patient Attendant

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, specimens, and medication throughout the hospital as assigned. Essential functions include transporting patients safely, timely, and efficiently, recognizing patient issues during transport, monitoring medical equipment, and maintaining transport equipment and records.

Range Of Pay

Between $15.70 and $18.57, based on experience.

Qualifications

Required : High school diploma or equivalent, Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross upon hire, demonstrated communication skills.

Preferred : Prior transport experience.
