Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and a current Rad Tech license.

Responsibilities

Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab working with adult cardiac cases

Responsibilities include Cath Lab scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for heart caths, pacemaker procedures, STEMI calls, and balloon pump interventions

Schedule options include 4x10 hour day shifts (6 : 45 AM – 5 : 15 PM or 8 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM) or 3x12s as arranged

Epic EMR experience is preferred

50 mile radius rule applies for travel pay rates

Locals are accepted at a local rate

Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in a cardiac catheterization environment

Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting offer

Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via e-learning

Return staff / travelers must have been gone for at least one year before reapplying

Only one holiday is approved for time off

Background and DUI history must be disclosed prior to consideration

Requirements

Active California Rad Tech license required (license required if applicable)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required

Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab technologist experience required

Epic EMR experience preferred

Must provide two supervisor references obtained within the past year
