We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.
Systems Engineering is the next evolution of the Daimler Truck global engineering design process and is critical for developing the increasingly complex trucks of the future. Our Systems Engineering team is a mosaic of experts from around the globe who are committed to creating, deploying, and driving the discipline of systems-based development through the global organization. Together we craft and facilitate the integration of new process, tools and mindset to continue the excellence in Engineering that Daimler Trucks is known for around the world. If you have experience in complex engineering development processes, a background in vehicle or system design and desire to bring Daimler Truck's engineering methodology to the next level, then we want to talk to you!
Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour.

What You Drive at DTNA
Analyze data collected from various engineering disciplines and operational units to support Systems Engineering processes.
Participate in both technical and soft skills development alongside the Systems Engineering & Integration team, Product Strategy, and EPM.
Collaborate with employees and contractors across the organization to promote continuous improvement and apply best practices to systems engineering criteria, policies, and procedures.
Broaden understanding of Systems Engineering through diverse media and contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Potential Projects :
System Complexity Mapping : Develop a visual representation of technical complexity and interdependencies based on features, functions, and requirements across systems and components.
KPI Tracking Tool : Design and implement a tool to calculate and track key performance indicators at defined intervals, including visual dashboards with charts and graphs to present data effectively.
Lead and support efforts to foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture where everyone belongs
