Dallas IVF, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, is looking for a full-time Clinical Operations Manager to join our team!
The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for leading all clinical operations and works organizationally to improve internal culture, safety, quality of care, and patient experience. Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the delivery of patient care. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with clinical staff, lab teams, administrative teams, and providers.Works closely with all department leaders and Executive Director to build an internal culture of transparency and trust.Has a positive and supportive attitude towards the organization and the clinics overall success.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
Essential Functions :
Supervises the daily operations for the following clinical departments :
- Nursing
- Third-party reproduction
- Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomy
- Ultrasound
- WeekendClinicalStaff
- Procedures
Supervisionofeachclinicaldepartmentincludes,butisnotlimitedto :
Establishing and implementing policies, objectives and procedures.Mentors clinical staff and identifies training needsFacilitates staff development. Participates in development, implementation, orientation and continuing education.Understands and stays updated on FDA regulations for both third-party and autologous patientsMaintains membership with ASRM and stays updated with industry standards and recommendations for best practices shares with Executive team for implementation as necessaryContinually works on performance improvement activities within clinicParticipates in recruitment planning and contributes to decisions, including hiring,training, supervision and evaluating clinical staff and their work.Assures adequate staffing levels are in place to meet clinical needs.Recognizes employee conduct issues and identifies when it is necessary to escalate further.Counsels employees and utilizes the Ivy disciplinary process appropriately.Creates and maintains staff schedules;includes taking daily staff call insManages clinical team timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.Participates in weekly Team Leader meetings and presents at Executive meetings monthlyActs as Super User for our EMR, eIVF, and assists with implementation of new processes.Collaborates and ensures effective communication with other leaders in the organization to align operations and implement / monitor interdisciplinary change initiatives, workflow, quality and process improvements.Facilitates clear and positive communication with inter-departmental teams, maintaining a culture of open communication and consistency.Ensures and make recommendations to policies in regards to compliance with standards, laws, regulations and procedures.Other tasks and responsibilities as necessaryEducation :
Bachelors degree in nursing or other healthcare field, master's degree preferred.Experience :
Minimum of 5+ years of fertility experience required - including 3+ years in a leadership roleThird-party fertility experience strongly preferredRequirements :
Advanced comprehension of regulatory requirements, managed care, health care delivery systems and clinical practice.Advanced software and computer experience. Standard use of clinical and office equipment. Flexibility to work on weekends and travel between clinic locations.Ability to manage multiple tasks and carry out instructions effectively.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.Knowledge of fertility industry best practices and FDA regulationsKnowledge of human resources management principles.Knowledge of scheduling processes.Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.A high degree of integrity and ability to keep business matters strictly confidential.Skills in quality assurance techniques.Skillsinstaff recruitment,orientationandtraining.Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff and interdepartmental teamsCompensation is based on experience, ranging from $115,000-$150,000 per annum.
