Description :

Transports residents to appointments, shopping and activities. Drives company van, push and lift wheelchairs.

Responsible for residents safety. Nursing assistant duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities; although is responsible to maintain contact with the Home via cellular phone while off campus.

Educational req. :

High School Diploma; Current driver's license, subject to record check through the Dept. of Transportation, Bureau of Licensing.

Must be at least 18 yrs. of age and pass (post-offer) on - line driver training program. Drug screen required.

Currently certified or eligible for Nursing Assistant certification in Pennsylvania

Physical Req. :

This job regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, talking, and hearing;frequent use of fingers, hands, simple grasping and fine manipulation; frequent lifting, moving, pulling, and / or pushing up to 50 lbs. May occasionally be required to climb, crawl, kneel, squat, reach and twist.

Shift :

7 : 00am – 3 : 00pm (1st shift)

(flexibility with Dr. appointments is essential)
