Primary
Responsibilities : The
Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient
care to patients seen in the Optometry or Ophthalmology
departments. He or she will ensure the safety and comfort of
patients and families according to legal, organizational and
professional
standards
Will
consider OA I and OA II based on years of experience and
certification
You'll be rewarded and recognized

Required
Qualifications : High
School Diploma or
GED
Current BLS
through American Heart
Association
1+ years
of Medical Assistant or Optometric / Opthalmic Assistant experience
if not a graduate of an approved Medical / Ophthalmic Assistant
program OR 6 months experience and be a graduate of an approved
Medical / Ophthalmic Assistant
program
CRT
experience
Proven
ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient
population
Preferred
Qualifications : High
as Ophthalmic
Assistant
Certified
Ophthalmic
Technician
2+ years of
work experience under an
ophthalmologist
1+
years and 6 months of experience in
ophthalmology
Proven
ability to Scribe, use portable tonopen, Goldman VF, Fundus
photography, Fluroscein Anniogram, Immersion
IOL
Proven ability to
use NCT, Autorefractor, computer related equipment, Lensometer and
able to perform
K-readings
Proven
windows bases computer
skills
Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we
offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive

contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility
requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us,

hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour
based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws
as applicable.
