Description :
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team supporting multiple recycling company locations. This individual will play a key role in managing inventory, analyzing financial performance, tracking costs, and partnering closely with Operations Managers to drive efficiency and profitability across locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee commodity inventory review and accounting management across multiple sites.
 - Perform month-end closing, financial statement review, and variance analysis.
 - Review weekly performance and cost trend reports for assigned locations.
 - Lead multi-location, multi-state accounting operations and ensure consistency in processes.
 - Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through data-driven analysis.
 - Conduct monthly operating reviews with Operations Managers; create and follow up on actionable financial improvement plans.
 - Develop and monitor budgets, perform trending analysis, and resolve financial variances.
 - Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
 
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or manufacturing / service environment.Prior supervisory experience required.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel skills required) and accounting systems.Experience in the manufacturing, recycling, or related industries preferred.Compensation & Benefits
