Entry-Level Computer User Support Specialist

GovCIO is actively seeking an Entry-Level Computer User Support Specialist to join our team supporting the US Coast Guard program. This role is fully remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers and associated networks.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers and network equipment.
• Support users with hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation.
• Connect personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.
• Maintain network diagrams and circuit records, alongside trouble logs.
• Educate users on the effective use of personal computers and networks.
• Analyze user needs and recommend appropriate software and hardware purchases.
• Perform basic programming for PC, PBX, and network software.
