Doing 1 : 1 check-ins and discussing positive and constructive school feedback with you

What youll do :

Work closely with students, either 1 : 1 or across entire classrooms

Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1 : 1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom

Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment

Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans)

Follow direction from, and assist lead educators

Youll need :

Valid RBT Certification

Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities

At least 1 year experience working with children / adults with special needs; OR

At least 1 year year in a classroom / education setting

Associate or Bachelors degree, or 48+ college credits

Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor

Take a TB Risk Assessment & Background check (we'll reimburse the cost of the Background Check you do with Scoot!)

Youll stand out if :

Have any SpEd-specific training or applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience

Are bilingual and / or have bilingual teaching experience
