Overview
A premier five-star luxury hotel is seeking an accomplished Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary operations of two signature dining venues—one led by a world-renowned Michelin-starred chef and another offering elevated, contemporary cuisine with a local influence. This leadership role oversees all aspects of kitchen management, culinary creativity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a passionate, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in fine dining and large-scale kitchen leadership, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through precision, consistency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation across all restaurant outlets.
- Develop, refine, and execute menus that align with the brand’s luxury standards and culinary philosophy.
- Manage and mentor a large, diverse culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability.
- Implement and monitor systems for food cost control, labor efficiency, and overall kitchen profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage leadership to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain operational standards through training, regular tastings, and quality reviews.
- Oversee kitchen scheduling, purchasing, and inventory management to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Act as a brand ambassador by upholding the highest culinary and service standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within fine dining or luxury hotel environments.Strong background in contemporary and international cuisine; experience with Michelin-star or award-winning restaurants is an asset.Proven ability to manage large kitchen teams and high-volume operations without compromising quality.Proficiency with culinary production systems, cost management, and food & beverage software.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.Compensation & Benefits
