Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join a dynamic team in Tolleson, AZ. As an AP Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all accounts payable processes. This temp-to-hire position provides an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong organizational skills and experience working with QuickBooks or Sage software. The position requires someone who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Handle accounts payable inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH transactions, and wire transfers.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Perform monthly accounts payable account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations related to accounts payable.
• Assist with generating 1099 forms and ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
