Join a dedicated healthcare team providing professional nursing care in an intensive care setting during night shifts. This role involves delivering patient-centered care under physician guidance, mentoring new staff and students, and performing nursing duties within the scope defined by licensing boards.
Key Responsibilities :
Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licenses and Certifications : Current Registered Nurse licensure in a compact state required. BLS / CPR certification required within 30 days of hire or by orientation end. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS, or AWHONN may be required depending on department policy.
Experience : Previous experience in a similar clinical environment is preferred.
Skills and Abilities : Strong nursing principles application, effective communication, computer literacy, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
Physical Requirements : Ability to perform heavy work occasionally exerting up to 100 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs. Standing or walking 51-75% of the shift.
