Job Title : Test Set Engineer
Location : Hill AFB, UT (On-Site)
Canvas is seeking a Test Set Engineer .
Duties :
This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force. Duties will include, but are not limited to :
Develop and document a standardized test set verification process for the Sentinel program, incorporating best practices and lessons learned.
Become a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the SERD (System Engineering Requirements Document) and Robins (Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex) processes related to test set verification.
Proactively identify and track all test set development activities across the program, including those in design, build, and production phases.
Lead the development of a comprehensive Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) test set test strategy, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and lifecycle maintenance needs.
Perform functional decomposition of system requirements to derive test requirements for test sets.
Provide electrical engineering expertise for the review and support of Sentinel Maintenance thread testing activities as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the SPO Logistics group regarding test set concerns and requirements.
Serve as a general SME for electrical System Engineering (SE) or electrical parts testing of Support Equipment (SE) related to the Sentinel program. Unplanned Support & Flexibility : Provide support for unplanned tasks and emerging needs within the Maintenance Thread, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Potentially align with Trainer development efforts in the future to support testing certification needs, as Trainers are similar to test sets in terms of testing requirements.
