As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our surgical instruments and environments meet the highest standards of safety and readiness. Key Responsibilities : Maintain and distribute designated supplies to assigned areas. Ensure all equipment and instruments are available and ready for each surgical case. Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in accordance with AMMI recommended practices. Complete and verify accuracy of instrument count sheets. Assist OR staff in locating and preparing instruments as needed. Maintain permanent sterilization records for Surgery and other departments per regulatory standards. Reestablish a clean and safe environment post-procedure, including room and equipment turnover. Prepare and maintain surgical supplies and specialty equipment (e.g., laryngoscope blades, tubing, filters, ultrasound, fluid / blood warmers, specialty pumps, etc.). Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year of recent Sterile Processing experience required. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) preferred.
