About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Tech

Hours per Shift : 40 hours per week

Experience : 3-5 years of Surgical Tech experience

License : Required

Certifications : BLS through AHA required

Must-Have : Great understanding of sterile technique and ability to maintain an organized sterile field

Description :

General job duties include picking cases from preference cards.

Open and prepare procedural instrumentation.

Maintain sterile field using sterile technique.

Equipment utilized in the unit includes Stryker trauma implants and video systems, as well as Karl Storz video systems and Stryker sports medicine equipment.

Position requires a minimum of 3 years of Surgical Tech experience.

Call is required, approximately 8 to 10 days of call per month.

Basic unit and safety orientation is provided.

Hospital scrubs will be provided.
