THE OPPORTUNITY

Kipsu is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll play a unique and interesting role in a high growth, leading edge Minneapolis based software company. Here, you complete a variety of finance -related projects and learn what finance support looks like in a small, growing company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Your responsibilities will include :

• Monthly Closing : Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, and accruals
• Reconciling Accounts : Reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account, and general ledger entries.
• Financial statements : Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, retained earnings and cash flow statement.
• Budgeting : Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Tax returns : Assist with preparing and filing tax returns.
• Daily Tasks : Including but not limited to - entering vendor invoices; cash applications of customer payments; assisting with collections; and other.
• Perform other duties as assigned

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000 and your starting pay would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education.
