Job Summary :

As a Certified Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, responsible for the accurate and efficient collection of blood samples from patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in supporting the diagnostic and treatment processes, ensuring that our medical professionals have the necessary information to provide the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform venipuncture procedures to collect blood samples from patients, following established protocols and safety guidelines
  • Label and process collected samples, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Communicate with patients to explain the blood collection process and address any concerns or questions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to specimen collection
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of phlebotomy supplies and equipment
  • Adhere to all applicable healthcare regulations and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  • Certified Phlebotomist with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the medical team
  • Proficient in the use of phlebotomy equipment and techniques
  • Current CPR certification
  • Compensation and Benefits :

    A competitive salary is offered to new hires of up to $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan contributions, tuition reimbursement, and generous paid time off.

    In addition to your base salary, you have the potential to significantly increase your earnings. After hire, the Company offers performance-based raises and pathways for higher pay through continuous learning and education, with the potential to reach up to $29.00 hourly in this position.
