Adjunct Professor of History

Johnson County Community College is looking for a qualified pool of applicants for part-time history faculty positions. The ideal candidate(s) will be qualified and available to teach beginning in fall 2026 (and possibly sooner) :

• World history since 1500; with the ability to teach the history of Russia, China, India, and / or Eurasia, and other courses as needed; online and face-to-face weekdays.
• U.S. history, online and face-to-face weekdays and Tuesday evenings.

Course descriptions can be found in JCCC's course catalog. In addition to teaching, those hired are expected to perform other duties as assigned. Teaching loads are subject to change.
