Join our team as a Physician Assistant Support Specialist! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to provide essential clinical services in occupational medicine. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct evaluations and treatments for work-related injuries.
- Perform post-offer physicals, fitness for duty evaluations, and return to work assessments.
- Administer DOT physicals and other preventative health services.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
- Execute therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain detailed electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Provide guidance and counseling to patients for adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
Qualifications :
Graduate from an accredited Master's Physician Assistant program.Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).State of California Physician Assistant license.Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.Current BCLS (CPR / AED) or ACLS certification.National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) certification.We invite you to apply if you are passionate about making a difference in occupational medicine and meet the above qualifications!
