Job descriptionBasic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Linux administration and shell scripting. Knowledge of CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI / CD. Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience with Python, Go, or another scripting language. Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices. Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Platform Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside senior engineers to build, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and best practices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in managing and automating cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Support the development and maintenance of CI / CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Help implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment and operational efficiency.
- Ensure security best practices in system configuration and deployment processes.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
