Now Hiring : Content & Copywriting Specialist
The Vicus Capital Marketing team is looking to hire a Content & Copywriting Specialist. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for crafting engaging content for the firm across a range of financial services and practice management topics. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, a willingness to learn new tools and skills, and have experience in the financial services or another regulated industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing and editing content for use in various mediums including :
Website and landing pages, optimizing for SEO
Email campaigns and newslettersCorporate blog posts and other thought leadership materialsInvestment strategy and other corporate program materialsSocial media contentAdvertisements and brand awareness campaignsSourcing content for use in social media from qualified companies in the financial services industryProviding grammar reviews on firm commentaries, resources, and other materials written by colleagues across the firm to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messagingActively participating in marketing strategy development for both Vicus Capital and our partner financial advisorsRegular analyzing competitors to see what other RIAs in the industry are discussingOpen line of communication with the Advisor Engagement and Compliance teams to ensure content is aligned with firm and advisor priorities while staying within regulatory requirementsAssisting with data analysis for marketing campaigns and using these findings to influence content directionAd hoc tasks as assignedWhat You Bring
Bachelors degree and / or equivalent professional experiencePrior experience in financial services (or another regulated industry) is strongly preferred
Basic knowledge of financial topics, or willingness to learn themProficiency with Microsoft OfficeHighly detailed with a strong grammar acuityBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is preferredBasic knowledge of WordPress is preferredPrevious experience optimizing web content for SEO is a plusWillingness to learn new skills and toolsStrong ability to manage multiple projects while keeping to assigned deadlinesA self-starter with a high degree of professionalismWhat We Offer
