Position Overview :

Stormberg Foods LLC is seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automated equipment, and electrical systems in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation systems, preventive maintenance, and electrical controls, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency of production operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-controlled equipment, automated systems, and electrical issues.
• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
• Collaborate with supervisors, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, records, and documentation of all work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff as needed.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgrades of automated equipment and control systems.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with PLCs and automated systems.
• Understanding and experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
• Understanding and experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
• Experience with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems, VFDs, sensors, and industrial networks.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if required.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working with machinery, tools, and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Schedule & Compensation :

• Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime / weekend work.
• Competitive hourly rate or salary (based on experience).
