Manager, Business Development, Consulting Division

Our client is a trusted partner in finance and accounting talent solutions, specializing in recruiting, consulting, and custom, project-based advisory services for the Office of the CFO. Whether you're looking to enhance your team with top professionals or need strategic guidance on financial operations, they are ready to support your needs. Their consulting division leverages experienced professionals to provide interim staffing, staff augmentation, and project consulting services across areas such as controllership, financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, technical research, financial systems and PMO, internal audit, tax, treasury, and more.

Responsibilities :

As a Business Development professional within the consulting division, you will :

  • Generate new business through strategic outreach, networking, and industry expertise.
  • Expand and deepen existing client relationships by understanding evolving needs and offering tailored consulting solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Advise clients on market trends, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
  • Lead client discovery meetings to assess needs and align consulting resources.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive long-term engagement and revenue growth.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal best practices.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Partner with leadership to identify new service offerings and market opportunities based on client feedback and industry trends.

What They're Looking For :

  • 7+ years of combined experience in accounting / finance and talent solutions, ideally within public accounting, advisory / consulting, or related environments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative mindset with a passion for creating client value.
  • Proven ability to identify client needs and deliver actionable consulting solutions.
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior-level stakeholders such as CFOs, Controllers, and VPs of Finance.
  • Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
