Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities :

• Perform day-to-day construction monitoring and detailed inspections for Electrical (Power, Backup Power, and Fire Alarm verifying adherence to plans, specifications, standards, and codes.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive daily inspection reports, Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs), photographs, field books / diaries, sketches, and record drawings.
• Review and process contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change-order proposals, and contract-claim documentation; conduct change-order and delay-analysis using CPM methods.
• Document and analyze time-and-material and unit-price work; review payment applications and provide recommendations for adjustments.
• Enforce safety procedures (OSHA-30, fall protection, confined-space entry, work-zone requirements); issue noncompliance notices or suspend work for life-threatening safety violations after consultation with supervisors.
