Job Summary :
The ICU RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include managing patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and Hemosphere Flotrac, as well as trauma patients of varying severities. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities :
- Manage patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and Hemosphere Flotrac.
- Manage trauma patients of different severities.
- Perform patient assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
- Provide care for patients undergoing hypothermia treatment.
- Manage patients with pleurevac chest tube drainage.
- Utilize Allscript EMR for documentation.
- Observe strict isolation precautions, including hand hygiene.
- Follow SOP and critical care practices.
- Utilize PCA pumps.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications :
BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school.RN License to practice.AHA BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.De-escalation certification required upon offer.Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
CCRN and TNCC certifications.Special Considerations :
Every other weekend (EOW) and holiday (HOLS) coverage as needed.Facility pays regular rate for OT & HOL.Must wear royal blue scrubs.Scheduling :
Nights, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM.35 hours guaranteed.
