ICU RN

Job Summary :

The ICU RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include managing patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and Hemosphere Flotrac, as well as trauma patients of varying severities. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities :

• Manage patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and Hemosphere Flotrac.
• Manage trauma patients of different severities.
• Perform patient assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
• Provide care for patients undergoing hypothermia treatment.
• Manage patients with pleurevac chest tube drainage.
• Utilize Allscript EMR for documentation.
• Observe strict isolation precautions, including hand hygiene.
• Follow SOP and critical care practices.
• Utilize PCA pumps.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
