Job Description

Guest Services Associate staff work in several capacities in the exhibition. As front desk staff, Guest Services Associates greet visitors and process transactions. As docents, Guest Services Associates ensure the safety of the facility and the visitors inside it by observing and reporting. In this position, you may be asked to assist in the gift shop or assist customers in the bar area.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

In this role, one may be tasked with working the Guest Services desk in an office like environment, or working as a docent which entails maneuvering around the exhibit. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners as a front desk associate. As a docent, employees may be required to be in a stationary position, stand, crawl, and occasionally ascend and descend a ladder or stairs as needed. Employees may be required to lift up to 20lbs. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
