JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to design, implement, and optimize our infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, automation, and infrastructure-as-code while driving efficiency, scalability, and security across our systems. This role will serve as a key technical leader, collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver robust, secure, and automated solutions.

As a DevOps Architect, you will have the opportunity to define and scale the DevOps strategy for a fast-moving and growing organization. You’ll work with a variety of technologies - both current and older, collaborate with high-performing teams, and play a critical role in building secure, automated, and resilient infrastructure.

Core Duties and Responsibilities :

Design and implement scalable CI / CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable delivery of applications.

Define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) patterns to standardize deployments across environments.

Lead initiatives to improve build efficiency and reduce deployment cycle times.

Integrate security best practices into pipelines, ensuring compliance and secure software delivery.

Provide architectural guidance and governance on DevOps practices, tools, and frameworks.

Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve productivity and system resilience.

Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and developers on best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

CI / CD pipeline design and optimization.

Infrastructure as code (IaC) patterns and frameworks.

Build systems, artifact management, and build efficiency improvements.

Secure pipeline design, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning

Strong working knowledge of AWS components.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and security teams.

Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

Mentorship and leadership skills to guide teams on best practices.

Adaptability and eagerness to learn emerging tools and technologies.

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Bachelors degree in computer science or technical field.

Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

Experience with service mesh and microservices architectures.

Experience with client / server, n-tier, and database application implementations.

Familiarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing.

Background in networking and security architecture.

Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, HashiCorp Certified : Terraform Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are beneficial.

Additional Requirements and Details :

Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Occasional lifting and / or moving up to 10 pounds.

Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).

Frequent sitting and / or standing.
