POSITION SUMMARY : Under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing Operations or House Supervisor, this individual is responsible for driving patients to and from Northwest Healthcare System by providing transportation services to the hospital from the Free Standing Emergency Departments as well as transporting patients who are an obstacle to throughput secondary to not having a ride home. This individual is also responsible for ensuring nursing units have an adequate number of intravenous (IV) pumps and channels and other equipment as assigned, to include both Free Standing Emergency Departments.

PROVISION OF SERVICES

• Provides transportation for NWTHS employees, students, faculty, and physicians by driving the designated campus shuttle routes.
