This might be the perfect position for you!

Power Cross Ministry is seeking baseball coaches to disciple and develop young men ages 7-14 in baseball and life this Fall Development Season!

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Support and Assist your Head Coach & Baseball Director in all of the following areas :

  • Ensure that all assistant coaching positions are filled with competent and properly trained coaches.
  • Organize coaches’ meetings at the beginning of each season to review expectations, guidelines, and rules of play.
  • Coordinating with the Director about the scheduling of games and practices.
  • Create and Provide Team Practice Agendas weekly, present to coaches and make sure the agenda action plan is completed.
  • Work with the Director of Discipleship to complete weekly Huddles with your team.
  • Attend weekly Bible Study with your team.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • High level experience in baseball as a player or coach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Google Suites or related software.
  • Must have valid drivers license and insurance. We drug test.

    • Coaches will be hired to serve both the Statesville, NC Power Cross Campus.
