Certified Medical Coding Manager

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Manager (Physician and Hospital Coding).

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise a team of medical coders for physician and hospital coding

Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to coding staff

Ensure compliance with coding regulations and optimize coding processes

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required

5-7 years of experience in medical coding, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role

Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
