The role involves managing adult patients per day within a trauma service that includes dual-boarded critical care trauma surgeons, surgical trauma intensive care, and general trauma patients, supported by an acute care inpatient trauma team. The position requires board certification, an active Arizona license, DEA, ATLS certification, and a minimum of two years of experience. The practice setting is hospital-based, utilizing Cerner EMR, with a total of 269 beds and Level 1 trauma designation. All hours are billable, and observed holiday coverage is determined by the assignment manager. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed.
