Job Requirements

Education Requirements :  Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or an equivalent recognized program.

Certifications Requirements :  Montana PTA license, CPR certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience Requirements :  Minimum of 1 year PTA experience, preferably in SNF settings.

Other Requirements :  Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed, excellent interpersonal skills, and reliability in documentation and charting.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality PTA services to patients in rehabilitation settings, ensuring personalized care plans are followed.

Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapists and healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatment and progress.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes using Point Click Care / Net Health systems.

Execute patient mobility and functional training exercises to promote recovery and independence.

Support facility compliance with licensing, safety standards, and best practices through diligent charting and communication.
